The 2018 Reading Challenge - #8 - A Book with a Time of the Day in the Title

Hey guys ^^ How are you? I´ll probably say this all the time but how is it possible that February is already over and we are starting a new month so soon already and how is it possible that today is already the eighth book review of this reading challenge? Todays´ book is for the category - A Book with a Time of the Day in the Title. I have to admit that I thought it would be hard to din a book for this and had to be proven wrong because I have already a few at home ;) ya well there is a point when you just loose the overview about the books you have ^^ hahaha

Tanya Burr Cosmetics | The Selfie Story Collection | a Review

Hello everyone ^^
How are you all today? I hope you had a lovely week and having an amazing weekend ahead! I have an aaaaamazing little review for you today :)

The Selfie Story Collection by Tanya Burr Cosmetics

There are three products in this little collection The Selfie Lash Macara The Selfie Sculpt Brow Pen and  The Selfie Flick Eyeliner

Lucky me I got all three of them on feelunique - you can buy them by clicking here to get to the feelunique side. First of all, as always, the packaging. Since those three are totally new products to the whole TBC Collection there is nothing to compare it to, but I have to say that the gold and black design is a good match to the whole brand design. Wouldn´t expect any thing other than a cute yet elegant packaging ;) The design is actually quite the same with all three product, of cause adapted to the particular products itself.

The Selfie Lash Mascara

This is actually a quite nice mascara...I mean I´m not blown away like I am usually with TBC produ…

Hello bookworms :) What are you doing on this wonderful evening? and more importantly what are you reading ;) My book for today is for the category - A Book Set in a Country that fascinates you and the country fascinating me most atm for years now is Iceland. I cant wait to go there hopefully very soon. Its just such an incredible place! So naturally I chose a book by an icelandic author set in Iceland and it is:

Snowblind by Ragnar Jónasson

Again a little summary from goodreads:
* "Siglufjörður: an idyllically quiet fishing village in Northern Iceland, where no one locks their doors – accessible only via a small mountain tunnel. Ari Thór Arason: a rookie policeman on his first posting, far from his girlfriend in Reykjavik – with a past that he’s unable to leave behind. When a young woman is found lying half-naked in the snow, bleeding and unconscious, and a highly esteemed, elderly writer falls to his death in the local theatre, Ari is dragged straight into the heart of a communit…

Hey ya´ll :) How are you on this wonderful Wednesday? I actually did it ;) I finished another book for today and its for the category - A Novel based on a real person.
Not the easiest one to find a book for to be honest! Of cause you could go for a memoir in novel form but...don´t even know if something like this exists ^^ haha In the end I decided to go for a book on my shelf already and I got this for christmas. It might not be the most perfect choice but it fits ;) so here it is I read
Tyll by Daniel Kehlmann

Till Eulenspiegel (German pronunciation: [tɪl ˈʔɔʏlənˌʃpiːɡəl], Low German: Dyl Ulenspegel IPA: [dɪl ˈʔuːlnˌspeɪɡl̩], Dutch: Tijl Uilenspiegel) is a trickster figure originating in Middle Low German folklore. The 2018 Reading Challenge - #5 - A Nordic Noir

Hello everyone :) How are you doing? Everything alright? At this point I have to admit...I´m really struggling...again...maybe I´m just not made to read a book a week...even tho I am doing it like this for years now ;)
It might be because I work the whole day now and am way to tired to do anything in the evenings? Well whatever it is, today I have a new book which I was able to finish in time and its for the category - A Nordic Noir -

The Bat
by Jo Nesbø

To be honest at first I did not even know what a Nordic Noir was...never heard of it before...shame on me ;) and since I thought I might not be the only onw here is a short definition from "A type of Scandinavian crime fiction and television drama that typically features dark storylines and bleak urban settings." If you want to know more about the genre click here for a longer definition and introduction and everything else! The Bat (Norwegian: Flaggermusmannen, "Bat Men") is a 1997 crime nove…

How To: Shake off that Winter Blues

Hello everyone

How are you tonight and how is twenty eighteen treating you so far?
I have to admit that I´m kind of having a bad patch atm...its the infamous winter blues that got me slightly...BUT that´s no reason at all to be in a bad mood or to hate winter time from now on and for ever ;)
I think I never actually talked about it in detail and just kind of scratched the surface of the whole mental health issue, but I´ve actually been diagnosed with anxiety and depression over a year ago now and to be honest I don´t like to talk about it too much. Not necessarily because I am afraid or ashamed or anything because there definitely is nothing to be afraid of and so totally nothing to be ashamed of but I have the feeling that everybody is talking about it and also that I would just be the one who just also has the same issues...don´t know if that makes sense idea...
ya well not the point at all today ;) hahaha

Never the less I wanted to talk about my little tips and tricks and…
