2017 Reading Challenge - A Book you loved as a Child

Hello bookerinos ^^
A new week a new book ;) This week actually a review I´ve written before so just a shortie today. Today I have my book for the category - A Book you loved as a Child and for me this is

Pippi Longstocking by Astrid Lindgren

Again a little summary from goodreads:
* "The beloved story of a spunky young girl and her hilarious escapades. Tommy and his sister Annika have a new neighbor, and her name is Pippi Longstocking. She has crazy red pigtails, no parents to tell her what to do, a horse that lives on her porch, and a flair for the outrageous that seems to lead to one adventure after another!" *
As a child I´ve never been too much of a bookworm ;) So there are really just a few books I can choose from and this is actually the only one I remember that I loved a lot ;) ^^ And I still love it...and I just realised that I might be able to read the original swedish version now.
Here is my review from two years ago ;)

Which book did you choose for this category? …

Denim on denim and How to

Hello everyone ^^ I hope you all have an amazing day ;)  I thought I´d share one of my biggest inspirations in fashion lately. I know it would be best if I could show you a lookbook or something like that buuuuut... well this is not supposed to be a post about body confidence so lets skip that ;)
I remember wearing denim on denim a lot as a child. I don´t know exactly why I think on one hand its because the material is perfect for kids especially for hyperactive kids like I´ve been one ^^ on the other hand it´s been the 90´s so... ^^

I think there are a few things to remember if you want to rock the denim on denim look. Kind of like a checklist or recipe to not look like a clown or a Wild West Cowgirl ;)

Basically for me personally there are three ground rules to make a look perfekt.
Balance. Breaking things up. Keeping it simple.
If you keep those in mind - nothing can go wrong ^^ I think ;)
Of cause again - this is just me and my personal opinion - you can go out and be as bold as …

2017 Reading Challenge - A Book you´ve read before that never fails to make you smile

Good Evening bookworms :)

Todays book is for the category - A Book you´ve read before that never fails to make you smile.
A very personal category and one which will probably be very different for everyone ;)
To be honest the first book that comes to mind when a think about a book you´ve read before that never fails to make you smile is any Harry Potter book...not necessarily the one I want to talk about today. The reasong why I chose The Life list is basically because I had Harry Potter books in my last years Reading challenge for the category a book that´s guaranteed to bring you joy...which is a very very similar category to be honest
 - here is a link to the post if you are interested.
Well after Harry Potter...this book came to my mind and I remembered how much I enjoyed reading it.

NYX Highlight & Contour Pro Palette | a Review

Hello everyone ;)
How are you all on this wonderful Friday and are you as excited for the weekend as I am :)

Today I have an other little review for you ^^
Its a product which is everything but new but its new to me and I thought I´d let you know what I think ^^

There have been a lot of contour palettes out there over the last year.
I have to admit I am pretty late on the whole contouring wagon - I did it all that time but I always kind of used bronzers to contour ;)
There are palettes for every budget and I´d love to try some like the Anastasia Contour palette kit or the Kat Von D Palette but I never had the budget for them. Then NYX came out with this promising contour and highlight palette and some time later I decided to give it a try.

Lets start with the description on the packaging/online
"Define your features like a pro with our refillable highlight and contour palette! Each set includes eight customizable highlighting and contouring shades perfect for emphasizing your fa…
